Charlie’s wife ‘not splitting'

THE wife of actor CHARLIE SHEEN wants to save their stormy marriage - even though he allegedly held a knife to her throat and threatened to have her killed.

Platoon star Sheen, 44, was arrested after a row with property investor BROOKE MUELLER on Christmas Day.

He now faces assault charges which could land him with eight years in jail.

But Brooke, 32, will ask a judge to modify a protective order slapped on Sheen so they can resume contact and "work on resolving conflicts".

Her lawyer Yale Galanter dismissed the alleged attack as "one bad night" in the 19-month marriage.
